The agreement between you and WhatOnSite
Last updated: 27 July 2026
By creating an account or using WhatOnSite ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. WhatOnSite is operated by WhatOnSite Ltd — full company registration details will be added here once incorporation is complete. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use the Platform.
WhatOnSite is a building-management platform that lets you record, organise, and search everything about your buildings — rooms, equipment, maintenance, contractors, documents, drawings, and photos — with an AI Assistant to help you find and understand it.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
If you invite other people to a building (managers, contractors, viewers), you're responsible for the permissions you grant them.
You agree to use the Platform lawfully and not to:
WhatOnSite offers Viewer, Pro, and Enterprise plans with different features and usage limits, described at checkout.
Subscriptions are billed through Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. Lemon Squeezy handles your payment details directly — we never see or store your card information.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel first. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
Fees already paid are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or at our discretion for genuine service issues. Contact us if something's gone wrong — we'll look at it fairly.
You retain full ownership of every file, photo, drawing, and record you upload. By uploading content, you grant WhatOnSite only the limited licence needed to store, process, and display it back to you and your team, so the Platform can function. We never claim ownership of your content, and we don't use it for anything beyond providing the service to you.
The WhatOnSite software, branding, and design are owned by WhatOnSite Ltd. Nothing in these Terms transfers that ownership to you.
We work to keep WhatOnSite available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access — we may need to pause the service for maintenance, updates, or issues outside our control. Support is available via our contact page.
The Platform is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhatOnSite is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for things the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Where we do, we'll give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data first, except where immediate action is required for security or legal reasons.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
